- 1 cup Crab Meat
- 1 cup Shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 1 Onion, diced
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup White Wine (optional)
- 2 cups Seafood Stock
- 1 cup Heavy Cream
- 1 tsp Old Bay Seasoning
- Salt and Pepper, to taste
- Fresh Parsley, chopped, for garnish
Instructions
- Melt the butter in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add the diced onion and minced garlic, sauté until the onion turns translucent, about 5 minutes.
- Pour in the white wine and let it simmer for a few minutes.
- Stir in the seafood stock and Old Bay seasoning, bring to a gentle boil.
- Gently fold in the crab meat and shrimp, cooking until the shrimp are pink and opaque, about 5-7 minutes.
- Slowly whisk in the heavy cream, simmer for another 5 minutes, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Ladle the bisque into bowls, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and serve.
Notes
Use fresh seafood for the best flavor. This bisque can be frozen; ensure it’s cooled before freezing.
