Ingredients

  • 1 cup Crab Meat
  • 1 cup Shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 1 Onion, diced
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup White Wine (optional)
  • 2 cups Seafood Stock
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1 tsp Old Bay Seasoning
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste
  • Fresh Parsley, chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add the diced onion and minced garlic, sauté until the onion turns translucent, about 5 minutes.
  3. Pour in the white wine and let it simmer for a few minutes.
  4. Stir in the seafood stock and Old Bay seasoning, bring to a gentle boil.
  5. Gently fold in the crab meat and shrimp, cooking until the shrimp are pink and opaque, about 5-7 minutes.
  6. Slowly whisk in the heavy cream, simmer for another 5 minutes, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Ladle the bisque into bowls, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and serve.

Notes

Use fresh seafood for the best flavor. This bisque can be frozen; ensure it’s cooled before freezing.
