- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 1 egg
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 cup Coca-Cola
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, bread crumbs, egg, chopped onion, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
- Shape the mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Bake the meatballs for 15 minutes, until browned and cooked through.
- While the meatballs are baking, prepare the sauce by combining Coca-Cola, ketchup, soy sauce, and Worcestershire sauce in a saucepan. Bring to a simmer over medium heat.
- Let the sauce thicken for 5-7 minutes.
- Add the baked meatballs to the sauce, stirring gently to coat. Cook for an additional 5 minutes.
- Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley.
Notes
For a lighter option, try using ground turkey or chicken. You can also store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
