Ingredients

- 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
- 2 cups Granulated Sugar
- 1 cup Coca-Cola
- 3/4 cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
- 1/2 cup Butter, melted (or vegetable oil)
- 2 large Eggs
- 1 tsp Baking Soda
- 1 cup Buttermilk (or plant-based milk with vinegar)
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease and flour a 9×13-inch baking pan, or line with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix melted butter, eggs, buttermilk, and Coca-Cola until combined.
- Gradually fold the wet ingredients into the dry mixture until just combined.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool for 10 minutes in the pan before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
Consider adding chocolate chips or nuts for texture. A powdered sugar glaze or chocolate frosting works well for topping.
