  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon neutral oil
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • Pinch of fine sea salt
  • Optional: 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract, dusting of nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 320°F (160°C).
  2. Whisk together the sugar, cinnamon, and salt in a small bowl.
  3. Slice the bananas very thinly, about 1/8 inch thick.
  4. Toss the banana slices gently with lemon juice and brush lightly with oil.
  5. Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar evenly over the banana slices.
  6. Arrange the slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  7. Air fry for 8–12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  8. Remove the chips and cool completely on a wire rack.

For a healthier option, reduce the sugar to 1 tablespoon. For extra crispiness, cool the chips on a wire rack.
