A delightful and healthy treat featuring a crunchy chocolate shell, creamy yogurt center, and real strawberries.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 1/2 cups Greek yogurt (plain or vanilla)
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups fresh strawberries, diced small
- 2 cups dark chocolate chips or chopped dark chocolate
- 1 teaspoon coconut oil (optional)
- Pinch of flaky sea salt (optional)
- Chopped pistachios, toasted coconut flakes, or freeze-dried strawberry powder (for garnish)
Instructions
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat. Prepare a piping bag or two spoons for portioning.
- Stir the Greek yogurt with honey (if using) and vanilla until smooth. Taste and adjust sweetness.
- Fold the diced strawberries gently into the yogurt.
- Place the chocolate and coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl and heat in 20-second bursts until melted and glossy.
- Drop about a teaspoon of melted chocolate onto the parchment to create a base for each cluster.
- Spoon a heaping teaspoon of the strawberry yogurt onto each chocolate base.
- Drizzle or spoon additional melted chocolate over each yogurt mound, covering the top.
- Freeze the tray for 30–60 minutes, until clusters are firm.
Notes
For a lower-sugar option, use unsweetened yogurt and sugar-free sweetener. You can fold in mascarpone for a creamier center.
