For the Salad:

1 lb uncooked pasta

6 strips bacon, cut into small pieces

2 large chicken breasts, cut in half lengthwise

4 cups romaine lettuce, chopped or torn

2 cups croutons

3/4 cup Caesar dressing (or to taste)

1/3 cup Parmesan cheese, finely grated or shaved

Instructions

Prepare the Pasta: Cook pasta in salted water, drain and rinse with cold water.

Cook the Bacon: Cook bacon pieces in a pan until crispy, then remove and drain on a paper towel.

Cook the Chicken: Season the chicken with garlic powder, salt, and pepper, then cook in the bacon fat until golden and cooked through. Slice into strips.

Assemble the Salad: In a large bowl, combine pasta, bacon, chicken, lettuce, croutons, and Parmesan. Toss with Caesar dressing and squeeze lemon juice on top (optional).
