For the Alfredo Sauce:

  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 3/4 cup salted butter
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

For the Chicken Bacon Ranch Penne:

  • 1 pound penne pasta
  • 1/2 pound cooked chicken breast (chopped or shredded)
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing
  • 6 slices cooked bacon (chopped)
  • 1 cup freshly grated mozzarella cheese
  • Fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and spray a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  • In a bowl, whisk together flour, cream, and milk. Set aside.
  • In a saucepan, melt butter and cream cheese. Add flour mixture and whisk until thickened. Stir in Parmesan and garlic powder.
  • Cook pasta until al dente, drain, and return to pot. Add chicken, Alfredo sauce, and ranch dressing. Stir to combine.
  • Pour pasta mixture into prepared baking dish. Top with bacon and mozzarella.
  • Bake for 25 minutes until bubbly and cheese is melted. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
