For the Alfredo Sauce:
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1/2 cup milk
- 3/4 cup salted butter
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
For the Chicken Bacon Ranch Penne:
- 1 pound penne pasta
- 1/2 pound cooked chicken breast (chopped or shredded)
- 1/2 cup ranch dressing
- 6 slices cooked bacon (chopped)
- 1 cup freshly grated mozzarella cheese
- Fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and spray a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, cream, and milk. Set aside.
- In a saucepan, melt butter and cream cheese. Add flour mixture and whisk until thickened. Stir in Parmesan and garlic powder.
- Cook pasta until al dente, drain, and return to pot. Add chicken, Alfredo sauce, and ranch dressing. Stir to combine.
- Pour pasta mixture into prepared baking dish. Top with bacon and mozzarella.
- Bake for 25 minutes until bubbly and cheese is melted. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
