  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup (homemade or cream of chicken soup)
  • 1 cup sour cream (or Greek yogurt)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or Monterey Jack)
  • 1 bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional toppings: Chopped green onions or crispy bacon bits

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until cooked through, about 6-8 minutes.
  3. Add the chopped onion and cook for another 3-4 minutes until softened.
  4. Stir in the cream of mushroom soup and sour cream, mixing until well combined. Let simmer for 5 minutes.
