A comforting Beef and Noodle Stir Fry that’s quick and easy, perfect for family dinners.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz beef sirloin or flank steak, thinly sliced against the grain
  • 8 oz noodles (ramen, udon, or rice noodles)
  • 2 cups assorted vegetables (bell peppers, broccoli, snap peas)
  • 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, grated
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • Optional toppings: Chopped green onions and sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Prepare the ingredients by slicing the beef and vegetables, arranging them in separate bowls.
  2. Boil a pot of salted water and cook the noodles according to package instructions. Drain and toss with sesame oil.
  3. In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  4. Add sliced beef to the skillet and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until browned but not fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add more oil if necessary. Add garlic and ginger, and sauté for 30 seconds.
  6. Add vegetables and stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes until tender.
  7. Return the beef to the skillet and stir in noodles, soy sauce, and cornstarch mixed with a splash of water. Stir for 2 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  8. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
  9. Serve hot, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds if desired.
