  • 4 chicken thighs (bone-in and skin-on)
  • 1 cup buttermilk (or regular milk with a splash of vinegar)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • ½ cup hot honey
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, soak the chicken thighs in buttermilk for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Mix flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in another bowl.
  4. Dredge marinated chicken in the flour mixture.
  5. Arrange the chicken on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for about 30 minutes.
  6. Drizzle with hot honey immediately after removing from the oven.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.

Notes

For a healthier option, use skinless chicken breasts. You can also adjust the heat level by using mild honey instead of hot honey.
