  • 10 fresh jalapenos
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (Cheddar or Monterey Jack)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 10 slices of thick-cut bacon
  • Optional: Toothpicks, smoked paprika, or chili flakes

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice jalapenos in half lengthwise and remove seeds.
  2. In a bowl, mix softened cream cheese, shredded cheese, garlic powder, and any optional spices.
  3. Fill each jalapeno half generously with the cheese mixture.
  4. Wrap each stuffed jalapeno with a slice of bacon and secure with a toothpick if needed.
  5. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes or until bacon is crispy.
