A delicious pasta dish that combines the flavors of a cheeseburger with the comfort of pasta. Bacon, beef, a cheesy burger sauce, and pasta shells come together for a mouthwatering meal.


Ingredients

  • 3 slices center-cut bacon, diced
  • 1 sweet onion, finely diced
  • 1 lb ground beef (96/4)
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 8 oz pasta shells
  • 2 1/2 cups beef broth
  • 3 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

For the Burger Sauce:

  • 1/4 cup sugar-free ketchup
  • 3 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 2 tbsp light mayo
  • 2 tbsp diced pickled jalapeño or relish

For the Cheese:

  • 6 oz shredded Colby Jack or Cheddar cheese, divided

Instructions

  • Mix the burger sauce ingredients together and set aside.
  • Cook bacon in a pan, remove and set aside. Add onions to the bacon fat and cook until softened.
  • Brown ground beef in the pan, add salt and pepper, then stir with onions.
  • Add broth and Worcestershire sauce, bring to a boil. Add pasta shells and cook for 6 minutes.
  • Stir in the burger sauce and 4 oz of cheese. Top with bacon and remaining cheese.
  • Broil for 3-5 minutes until cheese is melted.
