Ingredients

Scale

For the biscuits:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup cold unsalted butter, cut into cubes
  • 1 cup cold milk

For the apple filling:

  • 2 medium apples, peeled and diced
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 cup water

For the glaze (optional):

  • 1 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  • Prepare the apple filling by cooking apples, sugars, cornstarch, cinnamon, nutmeg, and water in a saucepan for 10-15 minutes. Let cool slightly.
