Description

A spicy and crispy buffalo cauliflower dish, perfect as an appetizer, side, or main course.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 medium cauliflower head, cut into bite-sized florets
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour (or gluten-free flour)
  • 1 cup water (or almond milk)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup buffalo sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prep the Cauliflower: Wash and cut the cauliflower into bite-sized florets.
  2. Make the Batter: In a bowl, whisk together flour, water, garlic powder, smoked paprika, onion powder, and salt until smooth.
  3. Coat the Cauliflower: Dip each floret into the batter, letting excess drip off.
  4. Air Fry: Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and arrange the florets in the basket. Cook for 15-20 minutes, shaking halfway through.
  5. Add Buffalo Sauce: Transfer crispy florets to a bowl, drizzle with buffalo sauce, and toss to coat.
  6. Serve: Enjoy hot, preferably with ranch or blue cheese dressing.

Notes

For extra crunch, add nuts or breadcrumbs to the batter. Can be frozen for up to a month.
