Description
A quick and indulgent lobster tail recipe glazed in garlic butter, ready in just 10 minutes.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 lobster tails (6–8 ounces each), thawed if frozen
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted (or olive oil for a lighter touch)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
- Lemon wedges, to serve
Instructions
- Pat the tails dry. Using kitchen shears, cut down the top shell lengthwise to expose the meat, then gently lift the meat and rest it on top of the shell.
- In a small bowl, whisk melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Generously brush the lobster meat with half the butter sauce.
- Broil on high for 4–6 minutes, or sear in a hot skillet for 2–3 minutes per side until the meat is opaque and just firm.
- Remove lobster from heat, brush with remaining butter sauce, and garnish with chopped parsley and lemon wedges. Let the tails rest for a minute.
Notes
Try substituting with dairy-free butter or cooking oil for a healthier option. Grilling for a smoky flavor is recommended.
